The Google Pixel 6 Pro is expected to come pre-installed with the Digital Car Key app. Under the hood, the smartphone will come with a Tensor chipset, which will be paired with Mali-G78 GPU.

Google is planning to launch its Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones in October. Now a new listing on Taiwan’s NCC database suggests that the Pixel 6 Pro (Identifier GLU0G) will support 33W charging speed. This is a big step for the search giant. Apart from this 33W charging, the phone is rumored to bring a 5,000mAh battery.
As per a Gizmochina report, this also leads to a major upgrade for the company’s smartphones. The Pixel 6 Pro can feature a display panel with a resolution of 1,440 X3,120 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to come pre-installed with the Digital Car Key application. Under the hood, the smartphone will come with a Tensor chipset, paired with a Mali-G78 GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The device will come with 50 megapixel camera
In terms of optics, the smartphone will come with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX 386 ultra-wide lens, and a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 telephoto snapper with 4x optical zoom support. There will be a 12-megapixel Sony IMX 663 front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. For connectivity, the device will get support for Wi-Fi 6e, UWB, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and Type-C port.
Pixel 6 series will be launched on October 19
Google can launch the Pixel 6 series in the fourth quarter of this year. According to GSM Arena, the Google Pixel Fold will use an LTPO OLED display. The report states that Google is expected to launch its Pixel 6 series on October 19. Already got a preliminary look at the design and specs of both but the Pixel Fold was not mentioned. The smartphone is also expected to come pre-installed with the Digital Car Key application.
Amidst the news of the new Pixel smartphone, tech giant Google has indicated that its current flagship Pixel 5 will be discontinued along with Pixel 4A 5G. According to The Verge, both are currently sold out on Google’s online store and the remaining stock at other retailers is unlikely to last long.
