About 2,500 Snapchat users reported it not working on the website.
Snapchat has become the latest online service to experience server issues, as many of its users report problems with the photo-sharing app. Complaints suggest that the app is not working properly for some users as they are unable to send any snaps to their contacts through the app.
Snapchat acknowledged the ongoing issue in a new tweet. The company tweeted that it is aware of the problem with the app that some Snapchat is facing and that it is “investigating it.” Not much information has been shared about what the problem is or what. However now Snapchat has announced that the issue has been fixed. Any user still having trouble can report it to Snapchat through online means.
The issue has been fixed! If you’re still having trouble, please let us know. Happy Snapping!

Downdetector confirmed the Snapchat outage, with a sharp spike seen around 4:30 p.m. today. About 2,500 Snapchat users reported it not working on the website.
This is a new issue I’ve seen with an online service in the past few weeks. Facebook Inc’s products – Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Workplace – saw two outages within the last week. First, the service was shut down on October 4 with a problem that took Facebook several hours to resolve. Till then, users across all platforms took to Twitter to report the outage.
The official Twitter accounts of WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram soon acknowledged the issue and stated that they were working on fixing it. The service was hit again last Saturday, October 9, as at least four of Facebook Inc’s products – Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Workplace – were down for nearly two hours between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
