Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Launched in India: Samsung has launched its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy M42 5G in India on Wednesday. The main features of the phone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC processor and quad camera setup. This smartphone can be purchased through Amazon and Samsung online store. It has a super AMOLED display and a 5,000mAh battery.
The starting price of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G in the Indian market is Rs 21,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The phone’s 8GB RAM and 128GB storage can be purchased for Rs 23,999. However, initially, its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 19,999 and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 21,999. This is for a limited period in May.
Talking about the camera of this phone, there is a quad rear camera setup in it. It includes a 48 megapixel primary camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera, a 5 megapixel macro sensor and a 5 megapixel depth sensor.
The smartphone has a 20-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has Android 11 operating system based One UI 3.1. It has a 6.6-inch HD Plus Super AMOLED Infinity U display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC processor. The phone has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage can be increased to 1TB with the help of micro SD card.
This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging technology. The company claims that on charging the phone once, it will get 36 hours of talk time, 22 hours of internet browsing and 34 hours of video play time. It also has Knox Security and Samsung Pay. The phone is 8.6mm thin.
