Domestic short video app Chingari has made actor Salman Khan its global brand ambassador and investor. The app, owned by Tech4Billion Media Pvt Ltd, had raised over $ 1.4 million from its blue-chip bakers in India by December 2020, including Angel List, iSeed, Village Global, Blue Founders Fund, Jasminder Singh Gulati and other investment groups.
The company recently received funding of 13 million from the mobile entertainment company On Mobile. Sumit Ghosh, co-founder and CEO of Chingari App, said in a statement that, this is a really important partnership for Chingari. Our goal is to reach every city in India. In such a situation, it is a matter of great pleasure for us that Salman Khan is associated with us as our global brand ambassadors and investors.

Salman Khan said that Chingari is one of the most popular entertainment apps in India and has paid a lot of attention to its consumers and content creators. Khan said in a statement, I like how the spark has prepared millions of people to showcase their unique talents on a platform ranging from rural to urban in such a short time.

Chingari has added more than 56 million users in India, while the video platform allows people to create and upload videos in more than 12 different languages, including English and Hindi.
