Tipster Digital Chat Station has given information related to the processor of the upcoming Redmi K50 series smartphone. Tipster has reported that these four processors will include the soon-to-be-launched MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor, the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, the Snapdragon 870 processor and the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. According to the tipster, Redmi smartphones equipped with Qualcomm processor will be faster than MediaTek processor.
Digital Chat Station has also indicated that the Redmi K50 series of smartphones will come pre-installed with MIUI 13. However, at the moment it is not clear whether this new MIUI will be based on Android 11 or on Android 12.
Earlier this month, Tipster reported that the Redmi K50 Gaming Standard Edition and Redmi K50 Gaming Pro are codenamed Matisse (based on front artist Henri Matisse) and Rubens (based on German artist Peter Paul Rubens).
According to the tipster, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor, while the Redmi K5 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Triple rear camera setup can be given in this, whose primary camera will be 64 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor.
On the other hand, the Redmi K50 Pro smartphone will reportedly be offered under the Poco brand globally, with speculations that it will arrive as Poco F4 GT or Poco F3 GT. It has also been said that it will get Goodix and FPC fingerprint sensors with 120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh rate. It will get quad rear camera setup, whose primary camera will be 64 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX686.
