Enjoy the Olympics on Facebook and Instagram
On Facebook, users can view official Olympic broadcast partners, team and athlete interviews, interpreters of new competitions for the Games, Olympic history, as well as posts from friends and more. Through Augmented Reality (AR) effects on Instagram, fans can have a unique experience in both Stories and Reels. In addition, the Reels on the Instagram account will take fans behind the scenes with the 11 Olympians as they prepare for Tokyo, the company said.
Olympic Chatbot Available on WhatsApp
The official Olympic chatbot is now available on WhatsApp. The chatbot will share Olympic schedules, tune-in information for local broadcasts of the Games around the world, and the latest news and medal standings. The chatbot will also include official stickers and a quiz on various Olympic events, and fans can connect with it to explore the Haystack Strong Team campaign in its entirety from the Olympics.
Google also introduced Olympic themed game
As the Olympics begin in Tokyo, Japan, Google is bringing the theme of celebration to its Chrome browser. The famous dinosaur game that we often see running on the browser without internet can now be played with Olympic color and flag. Google has updated its mini dinosaur game to mark the Olympics.
Google has now changed the game to represent some of the news from the Olympics. The games still start in the old-fashioned theme, but players will be able to see the Olympic torches on their way. Collecting these would turn the sport into one of many Olympic events.
