Twitter announced on Tuesday that anyone with more than 600 followers will be able to host their audio room feature Spaces. The company has given this information in its blog post. According to the company, people with more than 600 followers are expected to have a good experience in hosting live conversations. Its purpose is to make people more aware about the Spaces.
How to use Spaces?
iOS and Android users can use Spaces in the updated version of the app. If someone you follow creates or starts a space, you will come to know about it through the purple bubble at the top of the Twitter timeline. The bubble will last as long as the live audio chat goes on. As listeners, people can react with emojis, check pinned tweets, or even request to speak. While speaking, people can pin tweets and also turn on captions.
The company said in its blog post that when you create a space, you are in control. You have knowledge about who is speaking and topics. You can invite people to join by tweeting or DM and then inviting them to speak directly from their space to speak directly. From there, talk about whatever is happening in the world. It further states that to ensure safe hosting and participation in space conversations, the company has developed some safety controls, which are also available to speakers along with the host. With the help of these features, the host can mute the speakers or snatch their mic and remove them from the conversation.

People blocked in this will not be able to join the audio chat. Meanwhile, the company said that people can participate in any discussion, in which they are interested.
