The new teaser poster of the ‘Motorola Edge X30 Under Screen Edition’ smartphone shared by the company indicates that the device will come packed with 512GB of internal storage. In comparison, the regular Moto Edge X30 smartphone comes in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, which do not have an under-display selfie camera.
Moto Edge X30 smartphone works on MYUI 3.0 based on Android 12. It features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) POLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. This phone is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with which up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM is available.
For photography, triple rear camera setup has been given in Moto Edge X30. It has a 50-megapixel OmniVision’s OV50A40 primary camera. The camera also has optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Apart from this, the phone has a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 60-megapixel camera has been given for selfie.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port. Sensors include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Its battery is 5,000, with which 68W TurboPower fast charging support is available. The phone weighs 194 grams.
In December, the company also launched the Moto Edge S30 smartphone with this device. It has a 6.8-inch Full HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) IPS display, with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. This phone is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 888+ processor, with which up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM is available.
