Crafton announced in a post that between March 28 and April 3, the company blocked 66,233 BGMI accounts for using illegal activity. Earlier, between March 21 and March 27, the publisher imposed a permanent ban on a total of 22,013 accounts. It has also released a list of the names of all these cheating accounts. Krafton bans players who have downloaded the Battlegrounds Mobile India game through an unofficial channel or include illegal supported programs or apps on their device.
The ban is a part of strict action taken by Krafton against illegal activities. The company says that the gaming environment is affected by these activities. About 50,000 accounts of BGMI players were banned in a week starting January 10 and ending on January 16.
Additionally, Krafton is also partnering with luxury sportscar brand Lamborghini to bring exciting new vehicles to the game. Lamborghini Crate started becoming available in online multiplayer battle royale from March 25. The new crate will make eight Lamborghini skins available through the in-game store and event. BGMI players will also get a chance to win a Lamborghini skin with a lucky spin.
This partnership is the fourth time that Crafton is teaming up with major automobile manufacturers to bring exciting new cars to the game. The South Korean gaming company has previously partnered with automobile giants such as McLaren, Tesla and Koenigsegg.
