Reliance Jio has installed 20 MHz spectrum to enhance the subscriber experience of Odisha, which the company recently acquired in the spectrum auction. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited announced in March that it had successfully acquired spectrum usage rights in 22 circles in India in a spectrum auction conducted by the Department of Telecommunications and the Government of India.
Along with this, the company has also acquired spectrum of 800, 1800MHz and 2300MHz respectively. The company said in its statement that Jio has acquired additional 20MHz spectrum in Odisha. Also 5MHz of the 800MHz band in the recent spectrum auctions; 5MHz of 1800MHz; And has also achieved 10MHz of 2300MHz band.
Jio has made all the three spectrum available on its more than 10000 network sites spread across Odisha. With this the total bandwidth available in Odisha has become 60MHz which includes 10MHz in 800MHz and 1800MHz and 40MHz in 2300MHz bands. With this deployment of spectrum, Jio subscribers in Odisha will get the best experience in many respects.

It was said in a statement that there are a total of 14 million subscribers of Jio in Odisha. Along with having about 41 percent mobile subscribers in Odisha, Jio also holds a 50 percent share in terms of revenue. In view of the increasing demand for 4G towers, Jio Odisha is also working on increasing the 4G network in 2021. At present, about 10000 true 4G network sites are present in Odisha.
