According to the company, the direct picture of the path of cyclonic storm Yas (Yaas Live Path) GIS mapping application will also help in preparation, evacuation, rehabilitation plans in the most threatened areas in advance. Esri said in a statement that this GIS map provides timely information such as the cyclone’s estimated position, direction, its path, wind speed, warning, etc. It can be used in mapping and risk related preparedness.
