With the increase in the use of internet for work, online fraud has also increased. Someone can steal your password and withdraw money from your account, then someone can harm you through phishing. When hackers attack big institutions, different types of cyber thugs weave webs to make their owls straight. You can be cheated on the pretext of second hand phone, cheap offers or job offers with high salary. In such a situation, it is very important for you to be careful. The government is also very conscious in this matter.
The Union Home Ministry has issued a national helpline number for filing complaints of online fraud or cybercrime. This number is -155260. If you are the victim of any such accident or crime, then call this number immediately. You can file a fraud complaint on this number.
This is how this system works
The Indian Cyber-Crime Coordination Center (I4C) center working under the Ministry of Home Affairs will be activated as soon as a complaint of cyber fraud or crime is received. From here, the information will reach immediately to the banks and online payment platforms associated with RBI. This will detect fraud immediately and solve the problem quickly.

After some time or in the coming days this number will be implemented in other states also.
