If we want to find something in today’s date, then we first go to Google. Google has the answer to almost every question we have. Its importance has increased so much in our daily life that in meme-material the search engine is called ‘Google Papa’. This same Google is celebrating its 23rd birthday today, 27th September. To celebrate the occasion, the search engine has put up a cute doodle on its homepage.
The doodle features a double-tiered cake with a candle (in place of “L” in Google) and 23 written on it. Google was started on 4 September 1998. The company celebrated its birthday on this date for the first seven years. However, later it was decided to celebrate this day on 27th September. This was done to match the announcement of the record number of pages as the search engine was indexing. Created by co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Google is one of the most used search engines globally.
Billions of searches are done every day on Google
The Google Doodle page states, “Every day, billions of searches are performed on Google in more than 150 languages worldwide, and while much has changed since Google’s early days, its first servers were housed in cabinets made of toy blocks. Since then it has been changed to its servers housed in more than 20 data centers globally. Its mission is to make the world’s information accessible to all.”

How did Google come into the world
In 1997, Stanford University graduate student Sergey Brin was asked to show the campus to Larry Page, who was planning to graduate from Stanford around the campus at the time. The current CEO of Google is Sundar Pichai, who replaced Larry Page on 24 October 2015. Meanwhile, Larry Page held the same position at Alphabet Inc. On December 3, 2019, Pichai also became the CEO of Alphabet. Alphabet Inc. It was created on 2 October 2015 through Google’s restructuring and later became its parent company.
