The open beta version of Battlegrounds Mobile India is available on Google Play for Android users who have shown their interest in the game.
Pubg Battlegrounds Mobile India
Battlegrounds Mobile India is finally available to download for Android users, though don’t get too excited as this is just an early version and is available for users who have signed up for the beta version. Some users on Twitter shared screenshots where the download can be seen in progress. It is clear from the screenshot that the size of Battleground Mobile India is around 720MB.
As already known, the open beta version of the game is available on Google Play for Android users who have registered their interest. However, it is not clear how Crafton has selected select users as beta testers. For users who are eagerly waiting for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game but can’t see the download button, don’t despair, as Crafton notes on its page that this is a testing program for the app. This means that the game will be available to everyone when it is ready for a wider rollout.
Similar to PUBG Battlegrounds Mobile India
As expected, the Battlegrounds Mobile India game borrows a lot of visuals from its earlier avatar, PUBG Mobile, which was banned in India last year. Like PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India will allow users to join a team and participate in battle royale games, where multiple players fight alongside the last man or team standing on the battlefield. The Google Play listing suggests that the game will offer multiple modes, such as battle royale mode or free fire fight and one-on-one TDM matches.
What is the requirement to play the game
The app listing also confirms the minimum requirements for the game, which requires Android 5.1.1 or above and at least 2GB of RAM. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Facebook post confirms that the open beta version will have more slots for interested users. The post also reveals that players purchasing weapons and other items, as well as in-game progress, will be available on the store and available in the final version of the game.
Screenshot of the download screen below when visiting the game page shows a message for some users that says, “Thank you for your interest in becoming a tester for the Battlegrounds Mobile India app.” However, at this point in time, the Battlegrounds Mobile India app’s testing program has reached the maximum number of users that can participate and is not accepting any other testers.
