Apple Ipad Pro
Users of the year 2021 iPad Pro will now be able to update, download and install iPadOS on 5G. This is a feature that Apple has previously introduced with the iPhone 12. With the introduction of iPhones with 5G support, Apple included a separate option for iPhone 12 users, under which they would be able to download iOS updates as soon as they came into contact with the 5G cellular network.
According to an Apple Insider report, in a support page updated on Friday, Apple has said that it is bringing the 5G feature to iPadOS. The title of this support page was written, Use 5G with your iPad. Along with this, users were also asked to manage the data connection in their updated iPad Pro models.
In the section with data modes, MacRumors found that users will now be able to tell iPadOS to allow more data on 5G. Selecting this feature will allow iOS to use more data for its different system tasks and app features, such as high quality FaceTime video feeds or high definition content streams. This option also enables iPadOS updates.
Apple has warned that according to the network this setting will be default for some users with unlimited data plans. At the same time, it will have to be manually enabled for other users. To enable this cellular data on iPadOS update, users have to open the Settings app. After this, select the cellular data and then the cellular data option. After that select data mode and then allow the option of more data on 5G.
Along with this, there will also be an option for standard and low data mode in the same section in which you can setup the usage of data according to your cellular and Wi-Fi.
