This update was first reported by TelecomTalk. Vi the company used to provide daily 4 GB data under the double data offer in its prepaid recharge plans of Rs 299, Rs 449 and Rs 699. However, now this offer has been silently closed, now only 2 GB data will be provided in these recharges.
Along with this update, the price of prepaid recharge plans of Rs 299, Rs 449 and Rs 699 have now increased to Rs 359, Rs 539 and Rs 839 respectively.
The data benefit has been made live with new changes on the Vi website. However, you will still get the new daily data limit when you recharge through third-party portals.
With the decrease in data, the price of these three plans has also increased. Vi’s existing Rs 269 plan will now cost you Rs 329. In this plan, with a validity of 56 days, 4 GB data will be available with unlimited voice calling.
Like Vi, Airtel also recently increased the prices of its prepaid recharge plans.
