Realme was ahead of Realme, which achieved 20% market share thanks to brands like Redmi and POCO. Since POCO’s shipments in this were only 2.7%, most of the market share would have come from the Redmi brand. In this context, if Realme and Redmi are compared, then Realme can be considered a big brand in October.
Furthermore, Counterpoint Research says that Realme was the largest smartphone brand on Flipkart in October, with a market share of 52%. However, this is not surprising, because the main official online channel of the company is Flipkart and the company has its own website. At the same time, the market share of Reality in the overall online smartphone market was 27%.
Talking about the rest of the top-5 brands for the month of October, Samsung, Vivo and Oppo were at number three, fourth and fifth respectively. The market share of these brands was 16%, 13% and 10% respectively. On this achievement, Madhav Seth, President, Reality International Business Group, has issued a statement saying that in the year 2022, their brand is aiming to reach the number-1 position.
It is worth noting that Realme is preparing to launch a new tablet. The new variant has been spotted on Geekbench with key specifications… which could be the new model of the Realme Pad. The upcoming Realme tablet is listed with an octa-core Unisoc processor, which can be paired with 3GB of RAM. Realme entered the tablet segment with the Realme Pad in September this year. The device came with the Octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor, along with Dolby Atmos sound. 64 GB storage is present in this tab.
