Seven out of 10 people who adopt 5G soon in India are expecting better speed than 4G.

As soon as the 5G facility starts in India, within a year of that, at least four crore smartphone users will have adopted 5G. This was claimed in a report on Wednesday. In fact, the most trend can be seen in India about the upgrade, where 67 percent of the users say that as soon as 5G facility will be available, they will adopt it soon. Compared to 2019, this desire of people has registered an increase of 14 percentage points.
A new report from Ericsson ConsumerLab describes how 5G is already launching to trigger new user behavior.
Nitin Bansal, head of Ericsson India and network solutions Ericsson South East Asia, Oceania and India, said in a statement, noting that Indian service providers are preparing for the establishment of 5G, the report reveals some interesting figures. In which it has been learned that how people will adopt it.
In addition to reducing Wi-Fi usage, users who initially switched to adopting 5G spend an average of two hours more on cloud gaming per week than on 4G users and one hour on Augmented Reality (AR) apps. While 5G users are satisfied with the pace, around 70 percent are also dissatisfied with the availability of innovative services and new apps.
Consumers say that they are also willing to pay 20-30 percent more for 5G schemes related to digital service use cases. Seven out of 10 people who adopt 5G soon in India are expecting better speed than 4G.
The report explores consumer sentiment and perception from 26 markets including the US, UK, China and South Korea.
