In a post on its website, Crafton has stated that it is going to take strict action to stop new illegal activities and programs running on Battlegrounds Mobile India. Players will get a pop up warning message. If they have a version of a game they downloaded through an unauthorized channel or a program they are supporting, or are using a rooted or jailbroken device, or using another player’s account or when unwanted data is found then this notification will be sent to them. This notification has started from 15th September.
Crafton is also giving players the option to do routine repairs. That is, players can rectify their mistake if they want to save the account from being banned. Players can perform routine repairs by clicking the arrow icon on the lobby screen after launching Battlegrounds Mobile India on their Android or iOS device. From there they can go to Settings > Basic > Log Out > Repair > check Routine Repair > OK. Once these steps are followed, players can log in again. If the pop-up is ignored and these steps are not followed, it can lead to the banning of players’ accounts.
Battlegrounds Mobile India also banned 1 lakh 42 thousand 578 accounts during the week of September 3 to September 9. Crafton says it will implement stringent restrictions to block the use of illegal programs to improve the gameplay experience for all players.
