What did Tim Cook say on privacy?
Cook said Apple has received positive feedback from customers. In the interview, Cook has talked about many issues like company values, business model to privacy. He emphasized that the iPhone maker will continue to value privacy as a basic human right, as it has been doing for decades now. He has said that he wants his customers to have privacy rights such that they know what they are signing up for and get permission before accessing their phones. He has always tried to do this.
When asked about the regulatory scrutiny, Cook said Apple would support further expansion of privacy-related rules. As an example of this, he said the DMA language currently being discussed would lead to sideloading on the iPhone. He further said that this would harm the security of the iPhone.
