Jio is always offering amazing offers to its customers. Whether it is about giving data to customers or protecting them, the company always keeps people aware too. However, despite all the efforts of the company, hackers make users their prey. Therefore, now Jio has warned all its customers to be vigilant.
The company has sent a message to all its customers asking them to stay alert and has said not to answer any such suspicious messages and calls. The company has said that beware of messages and calls giving KYC or free mobile data and do not give any response to it as the thugs can cause you heavy losses.
Jio has written in a message to its customers that, “Beware of any message sent with the intent of fraud, in which you are asked to update your personal information / KYC details or promised to provide free mobile data. Have gone Never give your personal information to callers from unknown / suspicious numbers. Be safe Live team ”
Let me tell you that if you respond to such messages, then the hackers can cause you great harm. Actually, hackers want to collect your personal information from you with the help of these messages. By getting your personal information, they can steal your data and maybe even empty your account. That is why the company is constantly telling users not to react to such messages.
How to activate DND on your number
Jio also offers Do Not Disturb (DND) service to its customers to get rid of such fake messages and calls, which can be easily activated. To activate it, you will have to go to the settings by tapping on the icon in the left corner of the MyJio app. After this, the DND option has to be selected, after which you will get a message from the company and DND will be activated on your number within seven days. Apart from this, you can also activate DND by calling Customer Care.
