Shashi Tharoor: Congress chief Shashi Tharoor praised Virat Kohli on Sunday after his game-winning knock gave India an exciting victory over Pakistan within the T20 World Cup.
On social media, Mr. Tharoor revealed that he purposefully missed his flight out of Goa as a way to watch the India-Pakistan match. “After addressing a conference of Catholic universities in Goa this morning I declined the scheduled flight which would have meant missing the #indvspakmatch entirely. Even though the next flight is only at 9.55 pm I was thrilled to see one of the great matches of this tournament,” Mr Tharoor tweeted.

He tweeted once more, this time addressing Kohli: “And this man is both genius & authetic hero! Utterly awesome @imVkohli.”
The web couldn’t comprehend how Mr. Tharoor, who’s famend for his ability with phrases, may make a mistake. “Sir, please give the meaning of ‘authetic’ I am unable to find it,” one individual tweeted. “Tharoor misspelled ‘authentic’,” tweeted one other.

In the midst of the chaos round Mr. Tharoor’s error, one consumer defended him by stating that “authetic” is an actual time period and made sense within the context during which the Congressman had used it. Mr. Tharoor confirmed that it was a typo, nonetheless.
“Thanks for coming to the rescue, @perthinent, but it was, alas, a typo!” Tharoor wrote.
One consumer tweeted, “If Shashi Tharoor is making spelling mistakes what hope is there for the rest of us,” in response to Mr. Tharoor’s message, which was acquired with shock.
