Thiruvananthapuram: Indian cricketer Sanath Sreesanth (S Sreesanth) has announced his retirement from domestic cricket. He tweeted this information on Wednesday. Sreesanth wrote, “To the next generation of cricketers..I have decided to end my first-class cricket career. This decision is mine alone, and though I know it will not make me happy, it is my This is the right and respectful action to take at this time in life. I have cherished every moment.”

Sreesanth has said goodbye to his first-class cricket with several consecutive tweets on Wednesday. Sreesanth wrote, “Today is a difficult day for me, but it is also a day of reflection and gratitude. Playing for Ernakulam district is different. League and Tournament Teams, Kerala State Cricket Association, BCCI, Warwickshire County Cricket Team, Indian Airlines Cricket Team, BPCL and ICC.
The cricketer further wrote, “The ICC has been a tremendous honour. Throughout my 25-year career as a cricket player, I have always strived to succeed and win cricket games while preparing and training with the highest standards of competitiveness, passion and perseverance. It is an honor for me to represent my family.”
