World’s third and India’s second largest cricket stadium goes to be in-built Jaipur. An MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) might be signed between Rajasthan Cricket Academy (RCA) and personal firm Hindustan Zinc relating to this.
On the event of Invest Rajasthan Summit-2022 organized by the state authorities, Anil Agarwal (Chairman Vedanta Group) had introduced cooperation within the International Cricket Stadium being constructed by RCA.
In the MoU signing ceremony to be organized on the event of Rajasthan Day at RCA, Dr CP Joshi (Chairman Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Chief Patron RCA), Vaibhav Gehlot (Chairman Rajasthan Cricket Association) might be current. As per the choice made by RCA, the stadium might be named as ‘Anil Agarwal International Cricket Stadium-Jaipur’ after signing the MoU.
Stadium being constructed on 100 acres
The state authorities, beneath the chairmanship of Rajasthan Cricket President Vaibhav Gehlot, has allotted 100 acres of land to RCA at Delhi Road, Jaipur. The stadium is being constructed on it. The International Cricket Stadium being constructed by the Rajasthan Cricket Association in Jaipur can have a capability of 75,000 spectators. After the completion of this grand stadium, it can change into the world’s third and India’s second largest cricket stadium, by which spectators will have the ability to benefit from the cricket match.
Construction might be accomplished in 2 phases
The development work of this grand cricket stadium being in-built Jaipur might be accomplished in 2 phases. The work of the primary part is beneath development, by which a world class stadium with a capability of 40,000 spectators might be constructed. The complete value of creating it is going to be Rs 400 crore, out of which Rs 300 crore might be given by a non-public firm (Hindustan Zinc Limited) and the remaining quantity of Rs 100 crore might be given by RCA.
