On Tuesday, March 29, the fifth match of IPL 2022 was between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals (SRH vs RR). The match was played at MCA Stadium, Pune. SRH captain Kane Williamson and RR captain Sanju Samson entered the field of battle with their respective teams. In this match, Kane Williamson won the toss and invited Rajasthan Royals to bat first. The team of Rajasthan Royals scored 210 runs while batting brilliantly and gave a target of 211 runs to Sir to win. However, Chasing the target, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s team could score only 149 runs. And, in the latest season of IPL 2022, defending its score became the first team to register a win. That is, the team batting first wins.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) came out chasing a big target. Team captain Kane Williamson himself came to open. But Williamson was run over by the famous Krishna on his score of 2 runs. After this Abhishek Sharma returned after scoring 9 runs. Firefighter Nicholas Pooran was returned to zero.

Butler got the lifeline and after that he stayed at the crease. The pair of openers added 58 runs for the first wicket. Yashasvi scored 20 runs in 16 balls and Buttler scored 35 runs in 28 balls. After this, Sanju Samson, the captain of Rajasthan Royals, washed the bowlers of SRH fiercely. Sanju scored 55 runs in 27 balls. In which 5 brilliant sixes were also included.
