Bracewell breaks Babar Azam’s record
In this historic match, Bracewell played an unbeaten innings of 141 runs and created a new history. Bracewell broke the record of Pakistan captain Babar Azam. The history of T20 cricket tells that the unbeaten knock of 141 runs by Michael Bracewell is the third highest ever while chasing the target. Earlier in the year 2014, while chasing the target, Luke Wright scored an unbeaten 153 runs. And in 2015, Chris Gayle also played an unbeaten innings of 151 runs in the T20 match while chasing the target.
New Zealand’s third batsman in T20 cricket
The innings of 141 by Michael Bracewaite is the third highest ever innings played by a New Zealand player in T cricket. Brendon McCullum played a huge innings of 158 runs in 73 balls while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2008. At the same time, in the T20 Blast in 2015, McCullum had scored 158 runs in just 64 balls.
