The Orlando Magic are honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with week-long volunteerism beginning Monday and concluding with an in-game celebration after they host the New Orleans Pelicans Friday.
As a part of the crew’s Volunteer Program, the Magic and their roughly 275 employees members will take part in 16 completely different volunteer alternatives all through the week:
Monday
- Christian Services Center — beautification mission;
- Pathlight HOME — beautification mission;
- Ronald McDonald House Charities — baking;
Tuesday
- Harbor House — bulletin board adorning;
- United Against Poverty — grocery sorting;
- Second Harvest Food Bank — meals sorting;
- Mustard Seed of Central Florida — mattress and donation sorting;
- Salvation Army — meal prep and repair;
Wednesday
- Clean the World — cleaning soap sorting;
- Pet Alliance — automobile/automobile washing;
- Quest Camp Thunderbird — beautification;
Thursday
- Habitat for Humanity — dwelling construct;
- Center for Independent Living — beautification;
- A Gift for Teaching — donation sorting;
- Boys and Girls Club — mural portray;
Friday
- Magic of Mentoring Minority Youth Summit — youth to obtain a day-long enrichment seminar main as much as the Magic sport;
- The in-game festivities will embody:
