Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Nick Allegretti, a Lincoln-Way East High School alumnus from Frankfort, grew to become a father Sunday hours earlier than successful the Super Bowl.
Nick bought a name about 4 a.m. from his spouse, Christina, who informed him she was able to ship their daughters, stated Tammy Allegretti, Nick’s mom.
Nick and his mother and father sat of their resort foyer in Arizona, for about an hour till he bought a name again to let him know his twin daughters have been born, Tammy stated.
“We were just really happy and excited for him,” she stated. “Nicky has always wanted to be a dad and Christina has always wanted to be a mom.”
Later, the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 within the 57th Super Bowl.
“Not many people can say that they won a Super Bowl and that wasn’t the best thing that happened to them that day,” stated Joe Allegretti, Nick’s brother. “Win or lose, it still would’ve been a pretty awesome day for him being at the Super Bowl and having his first two kids born.”
Nick Allegretti graduated from Lincoln-Way East High School in 2014 and was drafted by the Chiefs in 2019, based on the staff’s web site. He has performed in three Super Bowls with the staff, successful two of them, based on the web site.
Lincoln-Way East High School athletic director Mark Vander Kooi stated the entire highschool group is “extremely proud and happy for Nick.”
“He is a class act and deserves all the best in life,” Kooi stated in a press release. “I am not sure I have ever been around a more genuine person who cares so much about others and doing things the right way. He is going to be a great father.”
Christina and the infants have been doing properly submit supply, Joe Allegretti stated, and Nick and his mother and father flew again to Chicago Monday keen to satisfy the infants and to see Christina.
Tammy stated Nick noticed his daughters for the primary time Monday evening. They have chosen to not share pictures of their daughters.
“We were all just very happy to see the newest addition to the Allegretti family,” Tammy stated.
