auckland, New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson has decided not to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) to spend time at home and improve his game by staying away from isolation and bio bubble this year. Jamieson was the second most expensive player in IPL (IPL 14) last year who was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 15 crore.
Jamieson told ‘ESPN Cricinfo’, “I have taken this decision for several reasons. Spent a lot of time in bio bubble and segregation for the last twelve months. Looking at the schedule for the next 12 months, now I want to spend time with the family. Jamieson, who made his international debut in February 2020 against India, has played 12 Tests, five ODIs and eight T20Is.

He said, “The other thing is that I am very new to international cricket. It’s only been two years so I want to work on my game.” He said, “I feel that I have not been able to reach the level where I should be. If you want to play in all three formats, you have to work hard on your game.
Jamieson said that the decision not to play the IPL was a tough one but he hopes that he will be a part of the league in the future. “It was a very difficult decision in the beginning. I thought about this a lot. But I want to focus on my career and work on my game.
