FOOTBALL
Rob Pike has been named the subsequent soccer head coach at Haverhill High School, it was introduced Wednesday by Tom O’Brien, director of athletics.
Pike brings 20 years of teaching expertise to the place. He most lately served because the offensive coordinator for Andover highschool this previous season, the place he helped lead the Golden Warriors to an undefeated season and a Merrimack Valley Conference title.
From 2020-2021, Pike served as the top coach at fellow MVC faculty Lowell High School. Prior to that, he was the top coach at Salem (N.H.) for seven years. He led the Blue Devils to a 50-22 document and 5 playoff appearances.
A 1999 graduate of Haverhill High School, Pike’s Hillie roots run deep. He was a star operating again for the Hillies, taking part in for his father, the late Bob Pike, who served as head coach at Haverhill from 1986-1999. He went on to play 4 years of school soccer at Saint Anselm.
Pike has been a historical past trainer at Haverhill since 2003 and served as an assistant soccer at his alma mater there from 2003-2009.
