Keisha Nandalal, a Fountain Green Elementary School instructor, was chosen on June 7 because the grand prize winner for The Baltimore Ravens’ 2023 Touchdown for Teachers.
The Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank introduced the finalists and grand prize winner for his or her tenth annual Touchdown for Teachers program, which acknowledges native academics for his or her management, dedication and dedication to training and for excellent service to their neighborhood, in response to a press launch.

Nandalal is a 29-year instructing veteran who at present teaches first grade math, science, studying, writing, phonics and social research on the Bel Air faculty. It was a true honor to be recognized by my school family and an extraordinary organization like the Ravens,” Nandalal mentioned in an electronic mail to The Aegis. “I feel so blessed to work within such an amazingly supportive school community. Each year, I believe God blesses me with the students and families I am meant to teach and learn from. I adore my students and their families. Many of them have become extensions of my family. Teaching my former students’ children fills me with indescribable joy.”
Nandalal obtained $5,000 in grant funds that was payable to her faculty; a faculty go to by Baltimore Ravens security Kyle Hamilton, the Ravens Cheerleaders and Poe; and a personalized Ravens jersey. After an meeting honoring Nandalal, Hamilton performed basketball along with her class.
School officers mentioned discussions are ongoing to find out how the cash shall be used for the college.
