You can see in the viral video that Ronaldo was walking with a limp as he got injured during the match. Meanwhile, while coming back, Ronaldo broke the phone of a fan who was making the video. Ronaldo has apologized on Instagram for this.

Writing on Instagram, Ronaldo said, ‘It is never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments like the ones we are facing. Still, we always have to be respectful, patient and set an example for all the youngsters who love this sport.
Ronaldo further wrote, ‘I would like to apologize for my anger and if possible I would like to invite my fans to play my game at Old Trafford.’
Police is investigating
Police is probing the incident. Police said that inquiries are ongoing and officers are currently working with Everton Football Club to review the CCTV (video) footage. Several witnesses present on the spot are being examined to confirm whether any crime has been committed.
Manchester United is seventh in the table
