new Delhi: Australia has won the ODI World Cup for the seventh time, maintaining the reigns in women’s cricket. Australia (AUS W beat ENG W by 71 Runs) won the title after defeating England in the final of the Women’s World Cup. Today i.e. in the final match played on Sunday 3rd April, Australia defeated the defending champions England by 71 runs. Batting first, Australia made a strong start, where Alyssa Healy of Australia played an aggressive innings of 170 runs.
Due to Healy’s quick innings, Australia managed to post a mammoth score of 356 runs for 5 wickets. Which the England team could not face. Facing this mountain-like target, the team was all out in 43.4 overs. England were a step behind from winning their fifth Women’s ODI World Cup title. Whereas Australia has won this trophy seven times by achieving this match.

Talking about the match, while batting first, Australia set a target of 357 runs in front of England. In response, England started poorly. Both the opening batters got out for just 38 runs. After this, Natalie Sciver held one end and played a brilliant century of 148 not out. But wickets kept falling from the other end, no one could support Natalie. After which the entire team of England was reduced to 285 runs in 43.4 overs and Australia won the Women’s World Cup title for the 7th time.
