In the first match of the ongoing Test series (SL vs IND Test Series, 2022) between India and Sri Lanka (IND vs SL Mohali Test Match), Indian team’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja performed wonderfully. In this match, the Indian team, who came to bat first, scored an unbeaten 175 in his first innings batting from Kibtarf, and after the captain Rohit Sharma declared the innings, he also remained in the bowling. He took 5 wickets in the first innings of Sri Lanka in the first innings bowling. And made a new record in his name, which took 50 years from any Indian cricket side to create.
Ravindra Jadeja has made a huge record in his name only after the first innings. He also became the third player in the history of Indian cricket to score more than 150 runs in a single Test match, with the ‘Five Wicket Hall’ (5 Wickets Hall Ravindra Jadeja). Jadeja played an unbeaten innings of 175 runs off 228 balls.

That is, the entire Sri Lankan team together could not go beyond Jadeja’s score of 175 runs alone. Ravindra Jadeja made 5 batsmen a victim of his fine spin bowling in Sri Lanka’s first innings batting. The history of international cricket shows that he has become the third Indian player to do so.
