The key benchmark indices continued to reel below promoting stress on Friday, monitoring weak spot in international markets. The BSE Sensex fell over 1,000 factors to 54,668, whereas the NSE Nifty 50 shed 316 factors to 16,366. The broader markets have been seen buying and selling with deeper cuts. The BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices have been down round 2.3% every as towards the 1.5% loss on the benchmark. Sectorally, the BSE Metal index slumped 4 per cent. The IT and Realty indices tanked 2.5% every. The Auto, Bankex, Healthcare and Consumer Durables indices have been down 2-3% every. The mega LIC IPO has been subscribed 1.12 instances to date with policyholders and employeed driving the demand.
