Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to give the biggest gift to the youth on December 25. In the first phase, Chief Minister Yogi will give free mobile and tablet to one lakh final year youth at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. A large number of students and girl students from every district of the state will participate in the program.
Chief Minister Yogi has announced to give free mobiles and tablets to one crore youth to upgrade them technically. Under which in the first phase, on December 25, Chief Minister Yogi will distribute 60 thousand mobiles and 40 thousand tablets. This is happening for the first time in the history of the country that such a large number of youths are being given free mobiles and tablets. Never before has such a large number of free mobiles and tablets been distributed anywhere.

Still registering students
In the first phase, students of MA, BA, BSc, ITI, MBBS, MD, BTech, MTech, PhD MSME and Skill Development etc., who are studying in the final year, will be given preference. Kumar Vineet, Special Secretary, IT and Electronics Department said that more than 38 lakh youth have been registered on Digi Shakti portal. Student registration is still going on.
Largest ever order on Gem Portal
Orders have been issued by the government to supply mobiles and tablets to well-known companies like Lava, Samsung and Acer. The companies will start the supply before 24th December. The special thing is that in order to make the procurement process transparent and fair, the largest order has been issued on the GeM portal so far.
Supply of quarter to 18 lakh mobiles and tablets soon
In the first phase, an order of about Rs 2 thousand 35 crore has been issued for the purchase of mobiles and tablets. In this, orders have been placed for 1.5 lakh mobiles at the rate of Rs 10,740 and 7 lakh 20 thousand tablets at the rate of Rs 12,606. A total of about 18 lakh mobiles and tablets are going to be supplied by the companies soon.
