Pune: The party needs money, for this, a gang of goons forced the youth to take money out of his pocket by placing a koi on his neck. Sinhgad Road Police has arrested 6 people by registering a case of robbery against this gang. The incident took place near the PMC water tank at Charvad Basti.
The accused named Vishal Raju Londhe (24), Sai alias Santosh Angad Akhade (19), Akash Baburao Shinde (21), Aditya Santosh Ghorpade (19), Omkar Tanaji Tupe (21) and Aadya alias Akash Vilas Janrao (23) in this case has been arrested. In this case, Praveen Sidram Thore (36) has lodged a complaint with Sinhgad police station.
1600 rupees taken out of pocket
According to information received from the police, Thore was talking with his friend near the PMC water tank at Charvad Basti. Then the accused came there riding on five motorcycles. They grabbed the complainant and put a koi on his neck. After this, 1600 rupees and Aadhar card were forcibly taken out from his pants pocket. Shouting loudly, ‘I have got money for my party’, he caused a loss of 15 thousand rupees to his car.

On getting information about this incident, Sinhgad Road Police started looking for this gang. Under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Dahale, Deputy Commissioner Pournima Gaikwad, Assistant Commissioner Sunil Pawar, Senior Inspector Yusuf Sheikh, Police Inspector Pramod Waghmare, Sinhgad Road police arrested the above accused.
