Lucknow : The Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh, which has completely entered the electoral turn, is the former Prime Minister. On December 25, the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 24-hour electricity, tablets and smart phones to the youth will boost its campaign. The model code of conduct for the state assembly elections to be held in the next two months is expected from the second week of January.
The Yogi government is already busy showering gifts with the launch of many lucrative schemes, mega projects. Kanpur Metro will be started soon after the inauguration of Purvanchal Expressway, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Saryu Canal, while the foundation stone of the country’s largest Ganga Expressway has been laid by the Prime Minister only last week.
CM Yogi is going to give the biggest gift on 25th December
In this sequence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to give the biggest gift to the youth so far on December 25. On this day, 24 hours power supply can be started to all the villages and cities of the state. An allocation of Rs 1000 crore has been made to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation for this work in the supplementary budget presented in the Vidhan Sabha last week. It is expected that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can give green signal for 24-hour power supply from the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which is celebrated as Good Governance Day.

More benefits to rural consumers
According to the spokesperson of the state government, after independence, for the first time in the history of the state, this would happen when a government would provide 24 hours uninterrupted electricity in the entire state. Rural consumers will get the most benefit of this new announcement of the government. Villages will also get 24 hours electricity under the new system. That is, the villages will get six hours more electricity directly. At present, consumers of Tehsil area getting 21.30 hours of electricity and consumers of Bundelkhand region getting 20 hours of electricity will also get the benefit of this decision of the government. The state government has already made arrangements for 24-hour power supply to the district, divisional headquarters, metropolitan and industrial areas.
Announcement to give free mobile and tablet to one crore youth
In the first phase, the Chief Minister will give free mobiles and tablets to one lakh final year youth at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Bajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. A large number of students and girl students from every district of the state will participate in the program. It is worth noting that recently the state government has announced to give free mobile and tablet to one crore youths to upgrade them technically. Under which 60 thousand mobiles and 40 thousand tablets will be given in the first phase on December 25. In the first phase, students studying in final year MA, BA, BSc, ITI, MBBS, MD, BTech, MTech, PhD MSME and skill development etc. will be given preference.
Registration of more than 38 lakh youth
According to Kumar Vineet, Special Secretary, IT and Electronics Department, more than 38 lakh youth have been registered on Digi Shakti portal. Student registration is still going on. The government has placed orders for the supply of mobiles and tablets to well-known companies like Lava, Samsung and Acer and the companies will start the supply before December 24. The special thing is that in order to make the procurement process transparent and fair, the largest order has been issued on the GeM portal so far. In the first phase, an order worth Rs 2035 crore has been placed for the purchase of mobiles and tablets. In this, orders have been placed for one and a half lakh mobiles at the rate of Rs 10740 and seven lakh 20 thousand tablets at the rate of Rs 12606. A total of about 18 lakh mobiles and tablets are going to be supplied by the companies soon.
