Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hit out at the Samajwadi Party alleging that the SP’s ‘Lal Topi’ was smeared with the blood of the victims of Muzaffarnagar riots and Ram devotees killed in Ayodhya. Is. “The red cap of the Samajwadi Party is painted with the blood of the victims of Muzaffarnagar riots and Ram devotees in Ayodhya,” Yogi said at an event organized by a TV channel on Saturday evening.
SP workers wear red caps and BJP has been targeting SP for its colour. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also termed it as ‘red alert’ in a rally. Yogi said at the event that his government worked to protect and instill a sense of security for the common man, while also trying to ensure that “criminals feel scared”. Accusing the previous SP government of neglecting the poor people of the state, the Chief Minister said that they (SP) only worked for their close ones who are involved in the perfume business.
“They may deny it, but the truth remains the truth,” he said. Targeting the state’s main opposition Samajwadi Party and its leader Akhilesh Yadav, Yogi said, “They (SP) never considered Uttar Pradesh and its people as their own. His vision is family and Pakistan-centric. Before 2017, there were riots every third day in the state and girls were scared. This has changed after the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in the state.”
He said his government has given Uttar Pradesh a new identity and “now traders and people are not forced to migrate from the state. Businessmen are now returning to the state and contributing to the development.” Asked whether the action of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh was against people belonging to a particular religion, the Chief Minister said, “Our government has not filed a politically motivated FIR against anyone.” Referring to the registration of more than 80 cases against SP leader Azam Khan, he said, “The cases against Azam Khan are the result of his wrongdoings. If anyone tries to take over the land of the poor and make an institution by extorting money from the poor, then action will be taken against that person.”
