A fourth aircraft has arrived in India with necessary life-saving medical supplies from the US for help. After which US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin praised the people involved in this whole process.

US Helps India in Covid Fight: India is currently facing the second deadly wave of Coronavirus epidemic. In this difficult time, many countries of the world have come forward to help him, including America. America is not only sending help to India, but is also trying to encourage it. In this episode, Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris will give a message of solidarity to the people of India at an event on Friday. She will appeal to save the lives of people in the friendly country India, which is facing the second wave of corona virus epidemic and to control the epidemic as soon as possible.
The US State Department said that Harris will address the digital program ‘America’s COVID Relief Efforts in India: Perspectives of Diaspora’. The South and Central Asia Bureau of the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Wednesday, ‘Kamala Harris will address the program as an ally to advance the campaign to save people’s lives and end the epidemic and show their solidarity towards India. ‘ Local time on Friday, the program will be hosted by Erwin Massinga, Advisor to the South and Central Asia Bureau of the Ministry of External Affairs.
Defense Minister praised people
A fourth aircraft has arrived in India with necessary life-saving medical supplies from the US for help. After which US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin praised the people involved in this whole process and described it as a heroic effort. Austin tweeted with three photographs of US military aircraft in India, ‘So far we have had 1 million rapid diagnostic tests, 545 oxygen concentrators, 1,600,300 N95 masks, 457 oxygen cylinders, 440 regulators, 220 pulse oximeters and 1 deployable oxygen concentrator system. Along with four aircraft have been sent to India. The Defense Minister said, “This is a heroic effort of all those involved in this whole process.”
USICOC sent ventilators
Meanwhile, the US India Chamber of Commerce (USICOC) Foundation has sent a consignment of 32 portable ventilators. The foundation will also send a third batch of 25 ventilators in addition to several oxygen concentrators in the next few days. The US India Chamber of Commerce of Dallas-Fort Worth and the Indo-US Chamber of Greater Houston (IACCGH) have joined hands together for the collective effort of Indian-American people across Texas. Jagdeep Ahluwalia, executive-founding director of IACCGH, has credited the effort to community organizations and businesses.
Doctors are talking to Canada
With this, a group of Indian-American doctors have also started talks with the Canadian government. These talks are being done to donate 5000 ventilators to India, which were purchased last year but which have not been used yet. Dr. Sudhakar of the American Association of Doctors of Indian Origin says that he is working with Canada and the government there. They currently have about 5000 ventilators. It is being requested to give it to India through the Red Cross.
