Mumbai: The threat of Omicron is increasing continuously in the country. At the same time, tension is increasing continuously in Maharashtra, which was one of the most affected areas of the country during both the waves of Corona Virus. In such a situation, the Maharashtra Government can take a big decision soon regarding the continuation of the schools started in the past.
ANI has quoted School Education Minister Prof Varsha Gaikwad as saying that, if Omicron cases continue to rise in Maharashtra, we may take a decision to close schools again. We are monitoring the situation.

Let us tell you that 213 cases of Omicron, a new form of Coronavirus, have been reported in India, due to which the concern has increased even more. Out of 213 cases of Omicron in the country, 90 people have become infection free or have migrated to other places. These cases were reported in 15 states and union territories.
