The collector called a person named Naharu Khan to do this work. This person asked the collector for 10 days’ time. At the same time, Nahru Khan finally showed the hour by hanging 3700 kg.

After hanging this huge bell in the temple, it was first played by Naharu Khan, MLA Yashpal Singh, Collector Gautam Singh and Dinesh Nagar of Ghanta Committee. It is believed that whenever no big work can be done by anyone in Mandsaur, then only Naharu Khan comes in handy. Nahru Khan has studied only up to class II.
Dinesh Nagar, a member of the Ghanta Abhiyan Committee, told that, to make this huge bell, old brass and copper utensils were collected from people’s homes from about 150 different areas. After which this Shiva Ghanta was made. Earlier the target was to make a bell weighing 21 quintals, but people donated so many old utensils in the form of faith that its weight reached 37 quintals.
In this regard, Collector Gautam Singh said that, an hour before his posting, the campaign committee had roamed from village to village and collected around 40 quintals of copper and brass. At the same time, this huge hour was built only 2 years ago. But it was not established. Now it has been established.
At the same time, Nahru Khan said that, he congratulates and wishes the people of Mandsaur and the Ghanta Abhiyan Committee. When this hour came, then we had made a separate trolley for it. It was necessary to establish this hour kept in the temple premises for two years. But, everyone used to panic because of the weight of this hour.
He said, ‘The people of Mandsaur have great faith in me that whatever work Naharu bhai will do, he will do well, I thank the collector and MLA ji for believing in me and entrusted this work to me. I have studied only till class II, but I have more practical knowledge.
