The wild elephants who entered the district two months ago had initially settled in the Murumgaon forest complex of Dhanora North forest area. After this the herd of these elephants was divided into 2 groups. The traversing of the herd of the said elephants is going on. Out of this, a herd of elephants is seen to be residing in the Vadsa Forest Department while transiting.
The communication of these elephants has started in the forest premises of Desaiganj, Armori, Kurkheda tehsils under Vadsa Forest Department. These elephants have damaged the houses along with the crops of many farmers. The herd of wild elephants had initially increased the tension of the employees of Gadchiroli Forest Department. Only now with these elephants turning their front towards the Warsaw Forest Department, the responsibility of the Warsaw Forest Department has increased further. In such a situation, the Forest Department has information about the squad being called from West Bengal for the settlement of these elephants.
This squad consists of 8 to 9 such specially trained people. This squad is going to ban wild elephants from entering the village. The important responsibility of stopping their attack is going to be there. These elephants have not been able to find out till now after the said squad is behind the elephants. There is such information. It remains to be seen how successful the said squad is in averting the loss due to the loss of many farm crops by wild elephants during the last two months.
