Taking its foray into North India, Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP) has signed an agreement with the Government of Haryana. Under which the company will invest Rs 1500 crore in Haryana. The Integrated Fund, Development and Asset Management Platform, an arm of the $2.7 billion Welspun Group, is looking to build a Grade A warehousing facility on government land in Haryana. For this, the company will invest Rs 1500 crore in the state of Haryana.
Under this agreement with the government, many big warehouses will be built in the next 3-4 years in about 50 lakh square area, which will provide employment to 4500 people in the state. The state government has assured WOLP of full cooperation in setting up these warehouses.
With a focus on ease of doing business, the Haryana government will provide a single window facility to the company for its projects, so that all regulatory approvals related to the project can be obtained faster and easier. Haryana government has also appointed a special relationship manager for this project so that this project of WOLP can be completed easily and smoothly within the stipulated time.
Let us inform that earlier WOLP had entered into a similar agreement with the Government of Tamil Nadu. Under this agreement, the company is investing Rs 2500 crore for the development of warehousing facility in Tamil Nadu. The company’s project in Tamil Nadu is also going very well.

Apart from this, the state’s logistics policy provides a conducive environment for the logistics and warehousing sector.
