India Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in 3 northeastern states in the next few days. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong heatwave in Northwest India in the next few days. The Meteorological Department says that in such a situation, in the coming days, people will suffer more heat.
Let us inform that in the month of April itself, the heat and heat of heat has started intensifying in many states of North West India including the national capital Delhi. The scorching heat has continued in Delhi-NCR for the last few days. People have started feeling the heat of May-June in April itself.

Heavy rain has been predicted over the islands of Andaman and Nicobar on 06 April.

Severe heatwave has been predicted over most parts of Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, parts of Madhya Pradesh and Jammu Division and isolated parts of West Central.
IMD said that during the next 5 days, there is a possibility of severe heat wave in South Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, while during the next 3 days in Gujarat, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.
The Meteorological Department said that till April 04-07, there is a possibility of heat wave in parts of Rajasthan, South Haryana, Delhi, South Uttar Pradesh.
Similar situation will continue in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gujarat from April 04-05.
Heat wave conditions will continue over Himachal Pradesh (April 04-05), Jammu (April 04).
In West Rajasthan also, there is a possibility of severe heat wave conditions on 04-05 April.
Severe heat alert issued in Delhi
According to IMD, there is a possibility of severe heat in the national capital Delhi this week as well. The IMD said that there is a possibility of heat wave in some districts this week. The IMD expert said that there is no chance of rain in the first and second week of April. Hence, severe heat wave conditions will continue in Delhi this week as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, March was the hottest month in India in the last 122 years, during which the country experienced severe heat. The entire country received 8.9 millimeters (mm) of rain during this period, which was 71 percent less than its long period average of 30.4 mm. March saw the third lowest rainfall since 1901, after 7.2 mm in 1909 and 8.7 mm in 1908.
