According to news agency ANI, a western disturbance is likely to hit the eastern region of the country from January 11. This Western Disturbance will move further and there will be heavy rain in the central and eastern parts of the country.
Odisha: Orange alerts have been issued in this state for the next 11 and 12 January. Be aware that there will be hail here on January 11. At the same time, IMD’s ‘Orange Alert’ has given a warning of ‘very bad weather’. There is also a huge possibility of disruptions such as road and rail closures and power supply interruptions.
Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal: In this sequence, a yellow alert has been issued for all these three states from January 11 to January 13. Yellow alert indicates severe weather. According to this alert, the weather is likely to worsen, causing disruption in normal activities.
Delhi: There will be a significant reduction in rainfall over the national capital and there will be no rain between January 11 and January 17 as there is no further Western Disturbance. The Meteorological Department has made a similar forecast for this. Due to rain in Delhi on Sunday, the weather remained cold in the morning. It got colder in the evening when the cold wave prevailed. The minimum temperature for the day was recorded at 13.8 degrees and the maximum temperature was 15 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, between January 12 and 20, the maximum temperature is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 6 and 7 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperatures are also expected to remain at 17 and 18 degree Celsius respectively on 10th and 11th.
Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab: On the other hand, the ongoing intense rainfall over the Western Himalayas and adjoining plains (Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab) has started weakening on January 9. So overall the weather in these states is likely to remain the same as above.
