Renowned journalist and broadcaster Vinod Dua passed away on Saturday. He was 67 years old. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital. He was in ICU for the last few days. His daughter and actress-comedian Mallika Dua gave this information. He told that Dua’s last rites will be performed on Sunday at the crematorium on Lodhi Road in Delhi.
Earlier this year, there were victims of COVID
Vinod Dua was admitted to the hospital earlier this year due to COVID. In June this year, he lost his wife, radiologist Padmavati ‘Chinna’ Dua, due to corona virus infection. Mallika Dua wrote on her Instagram, “Our fearless, fearless and extraordinary father Vinod Dua has passed away. He lived a unique life, rising to the pinnacle of journalism excellence for 42 years starting from the refugee colonies of Delhi, always standing by the truth.
He wrote, “He is now in heaven with our mother, his beloved wife Chinna, where they will continue to sing songs, cook, travel and fight with each other.” Hindi TV journalism with Doordarshan and NDTV Vinod Dua, the leader of the hospital, was admitted to the ICU of Apollo Hospital on Monday.

Vinod Dua and his wife were admitted to a hospital in Gurgaon during the peak of the second wave of COVID. Dua’s health was deteriorating since then and she was being admitted to the hospital frequently. Dua is the couple’s elder daughter Bakul Dua, who is a clinical psychologist. Dua’s last rites will be performed on Sunday at the crematorium on Delhi’s Lodhi Road .
