After over a 12 months of stalled investigation, legislation enforcement resuscitated the Seekonk homicide case of 66-year-old Joseph Housley within the final week — bringing prices towards sufferer’s son and his buddy.
The two 21-year-old Rehoboth males, Christopher Heron and Joseph “JD” Housley II, had been indicted Thursday on homicide and firearm prices for the beforehand unsolved 2021 murder, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn stated in a press release.
The elder Housely was discovered bleeding from an obvious gunshot wound in a 101 Forsyth Circle space condominium round 10 p.m. on July 6, 2021. Police had been introduced in by experiences of pictures within the space, and the person died on the scene shortly thereafter.

It is “likely” that the defendants will likely be arraigned on the brand new indictments on that date as properly, based on the DA’s assertion.
The DA’s workplace stated they won’t launch any additional data on the case till the defendants are arraigned.
The marathon investigation was coordinated by Assistant District Attorney Shawn Guilderson, in collaboration with Massachusetts State Police detectives.
Seekonk Police Chief Dean Isabella thanked all of the events for “their relentless pursuit of justice for the victim of this heinous crime and his family.”
“(Investigator’s) tireless work for the past 15 months led to this indictment,” stated Quinn. “We now look forward to prosecuting this case in court.”
