Pune: For years, the eyes of the Pune Municipal Corporation on the vehicles that have been gathering dust on the roadside have become curved. Now the municipal administration will take direct action on these. Due to these vehicles, there are problems in cleaning and repairing the roads.
The Pune Municipal Corporation will paste notices on these vehicles. After that, if the owner does not remove the vehicle from there within 7 days, then direct auction of these vehicles will be done by canceling his RTO registration. Action on these vehicles will start from January 15.

Various measures are taken by the Pune Municipal Corporation to keep the city clean. This time the Pune Municipal Corporation has come fifth in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan competition, but the vehicles throwing dust on the city’s roads are disfiguring the look of the clean Pune city. It has been seen that some vehicles are not in use at all. For many years they have been standing in the same place. Apart from causing traffic problems due to these vehicles, the Municipal Corporation faces problems while cleaning the roads. Under these pots, a large amount of garbage gets accumulated.

These vehicles cause problems while deburring. All these problems distort the city. Therefore, the municipal administration has taken the decision to take action on these vehicles. The 15 ward offices of the Pune Municipal Corporation have been ordered to trace vehicles that have been parked on the roads for several months and obstructing the cleanliness. Based on the number of these vehicles, a notice will be given to the owner of the concerned vehicle. The vehicle will be confiscated for not lifting the vehicles on the road, footpath or under the bridge within 7 days. These vehicles will be directly auctioned.
10 thousand rupees fine
If the vehicle is not removed from the road in 7 days after the notice on the vehicle, then the concerned vehicle will be confiscated by the Municipal Corporation and kept in the warehouse. If citizens approach before the completion of the RTO process, they will be fined Rs 10,000. Those citizens who do not contact, the registration of their vehicle will be cancelled. Vehicles that are unregistered will be auctioned.
Vehicles parked on the road or sidewalk add to the filth of the city. Therefore these four wheeler and two wheeler vehicles will be confiscated. Ward offices have been ordered in this regard. The registration of vehicles of non-contact citizens will be canceled by the RTO. This action will be started from January 15. Before that the process of putting notices on the vehicles will be started.
