Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) worker Arshad Rana wept bitterly on Friday after he was denied ticket in the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. A video of Rana weeping and complaining about his party has surfaced on social media.
The BSP leader said in the video, “Tamasha Bana Diya… I never thought this would happen. You promise me tickets and then you give them to someone else. You guys saw daily advertisements in newspapers and on hoardings.” I did everything and still…”
He said that he has been working for BSP for 24 years and was formally declared candidate from Charthawal in 2018 for 2022 UP elections.
ANI quoted Rana as saying, “I have been working for 24 years. Was formally declared candidate from Charthaval in 2018, trying to contact the party, no proper response. Rs 50 lakh Have been asked to make arrangements for… have already paid about Rs 4.5 lakh.”

On Thursday, the BSP announced its candidates from Charthaval and Gangoh assembly seats. The Mayawati-led party has fielded Muslim candidates from both the seats in western UP.
Mayawati tweeted on Thursday morning, “Salman Saeed, son of former home minister of Muzaffarnagar district, Sayeduzzaman, met BSP chief late on January 12 and left Congress and joined Bahujan Samaj Party. Sayeed was nominated by BSP from Charthawal assembly seat. Is.”

Elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held in 7 phases. Voting will be held in seven phases in UP on February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7. The results of the elections will be declared on March 10.
The first phase will start from West Uttar Pradesh and gradually move towards East Uttar Pradesh. This time also the elections in UP will start from West UP and end in Purvanchal like last time. Polling will be held in 58 assembly seats in the first phase and 64 in the last phase.
